Singer Liela Moss recounts an altercation with some classic rock fans outside the venue in Ohio:
"What a sight we had on the way home through the car park. Hundreds and hundreds of Dooooodz pouring out of a conference center gig, having seen Lynyrd Skynyrd. I can tell you, it was hilarious. As was the heckling we got for wearing tighter jeans than the Skynyrd fans... Apparently we needed to "Get Jesus into your life, Freaks".
Whereas guitarist Luke Ford gave us the lowdown on which M*A*S*H* character each band member would be:
"Moss would obviously have to be 'Hotlips', Higgins is certainly in the 'Trapper John' Mould, Fancy Smith would be 'Hawkeye', Butler = 'Major Winchester', Kim would be 'Radar' (as she keeps this whole thing together), i guess i would be 'Father Mulcahy', inevitably leaving the role of 'Klinger' wide open for Olly 'the kid' Betts..."
