Discovering a happy medium between the world of electronica and rock is never an easy undertaking, and Liverpool quartet, Ladytron are back with their most ear-grabbing offering to date. Velocifero, the band's fourth studio album, easily transcends the usual confines of electro-pop and rock with their fresh interpretation of distorted soul. Labyrinthine layering of rhythms, effects and synth patterns, as the dual vocals of Helen Marnie and Mira Aroyo navigate their way through, the new album is a diverse yet cohesive journey of sound that will ultimately lead you to the dance floor.
