Darker My Love is Cheating On Us

Yes, it's true: Darker My Love, a five-member indie psychedelic rock band, is cheating on us with California's smellier lower half: Los Angeles. In July they will deliver dual-hometown residencies in San Francisco and L.A.. We wondered why there was a double lifestyle but it turns out that half of the band is from San Francisco and the other half, Los Angeles. Now, we don't really like that but we understand.

Their sophomore effort, 2 (Dangerbird Records) will be out August 5th which will coincide with a CD Release party at the Independent in San Francisco. I guess L.A. will just get the sloppy seconds. (Apparently some are into that.) But we get to see them first and we like that. Anyone can watch listen to their first single, "Blue Day," here.
