The Sell Out: Adele

We think that Adele, the hottest act to come out of the U.K. since Kate Nash (wasn't that like just five months ago!), is a TOTAL sell-out. Before you totally get your panties in a bunch, keep reading... She's selling out all over the place! Both of her NYC gigs at Highline Ballroom are sold-out and Chicago too. We hear Philadelphia is next. (She is playing at the incredible World Cafe Live.) But, the problem? We missed her concert at Bimbo's last week. Damn, damn, damn. She's completely selling-out and we missed it. Let's hope that she comes back to San Francisco before another U.K. darling comes and trumps her. We don't want another Kate Nash on our hands.

Adele’s first UK single, an ode to Brixton the place she grew up called “Hometown Glory,” was featured on last week’s season finale of Grey’s Anatomy. (Yet, another Grey's Anatomy musician - they do pick good ones, don't they?)
