This Week in Le Rock: June 9 - 15

Judging from the quality and quantity of music we saw last week, we're not sure that it can beat but we're hoping and we think it might. Starting off this week strong, The Submarines are playing their indie-pop band from LA are playing Cafe du Nord this Tuesday. Their new album, Honeysuckle Weeks, was released last month on one of my favorite labels: Nettwerk (Sarah McLachlan & The Perishers). They sold-out last time they were here, so you might want to buy your ticket today instead of at the door.

Last week, we almost forgot about The Ting Ting's debut album, We Started Nothing. We aren't forgetting their performance at popscene on Thursday night. After a quick listen of their album, we know that this show is gonna be a party. We're going to be hanging at this party, so if you are gonna be there, let us know. Don't forget to get their early because we're sure that the line to get in will be pretty hefty. The party starts rocking at 10pm.
