San Francisco's indie-pop band, Built for the Sea are playing The Bottom of the Hill on August 30th. We have a bit of a preview for you, showcasing their revamped: "Release". Lia Rose's superb breathy/sexy vocals against the melodic guitar and driving yet subtle rhythm of the drums sets this San Francisco band a part from other indie-rock/pop bands trying to make it. Their music is melodic and catchy yet they stear away from "poppy" or bubble-gum. (Which in my opinion is their selling point.)
If you are into LovelikeFire or Great Northern, then you'll love this.
