Airborne Toxic Event will be playing this evening at The Grand Ballroom. I'd describe their music as "classy pop". Of course, the "classy" might be due to the violin. Either way, it should be a great show. Based out of Los Feliz, CA, these guys earned a spot in the rotation on KROQ, and have since been promoting their debut album, released on Majordomo Records, on tour. According to Spin Magazine, "Catch Airborne live and you'll likely see a mix of stomping, hollering, and/or crying, both onstage and off. So if that doesn't convince you to come out I don't know what will. The only show I've ever seen the performers cry at was Cat Power, and that was... awkward.So come out. They'll be supporting The Fratellis as well. Show kicks off at 8pm.
