Basement Jaxx, UK’s kings of house music, rose to fame in the late ‘90s with electronic anthems like ‘Red Alert’ and ‘Bingo Bango,’ which could be heard everywhere from south London clubs to Coke commercials. They have been churning out funkified house hits ever since.

The duo (otherwise known as Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe) just released a new album, Scars, featuring an impressive guest performer lineup--Santigold, Yoko Ono, and Kelis, to name a few--that creates a truly diverse selection of dance tacks.
