It looks like us punks just keep on getting older, and what happens when we get old, we start looking back on our glory days...and making documentaries about them.
Ian MacKaye and Ray Cappo appear in the documentary "Edge: Perspectives on Drug Free Culture". Straight Edge, has become surprisingly controversial since its inception. This documentary speaks with diverse artists from Ian MacKaye to Karl Buechner to explore the movements cultural significance.
The doc has just been released on dvd and is available through their website. http://www.theedgeprojectmovie.com/
MacKaye also is featured in the upcoming Bad Brains documentary along with Henry Rollins, Adam Yauch. Though it has been in the works for a few years now, ImdbPro lists the project in post production, here's hoping that it comes out soon.
Bad Religion is giving its fans a free download of their news tlive cd, recorded live during their 30th Anniversary tour.
